Last night's Channel 4 Dispatches programme showed juts how unsafe the Government's dealing with this pandemic is and the consequences of not heading scientific advice, which they did not do - over 200 NHS workers dieing from Covid-19 and over 60,000 deaths of UK citizens!

The Government has issued guidelines for the public and indeed for employers, despite that existing health & Safety legislation covers adequately what needs to be done to secure the health and safety of their employees - IF they actually adhere to the law!

Hazards Campaign is the leading Health & Safety campaign group in the UK, supporting as it does Union Safety Reps and the wider workplace health & safety community in the UK. It is world renowned for its pioneering work.

Now with the UK facing the worst Health & Safety at work and Public health crisis since the First World War, Hazards Campaign is researching UK workplaces in order to determine just how employers are performing in their duty of care to their employees.

Janet Newsham and Hilda Palmer of Greater Manchester Hazards Centre have put together a workplace survey, consisting of five sets of short questions which they are asking all Trade Union members at work and indeed those without a union who are also at work, to complete and be part of the largest and most accurate audit of workplaces currently active at this stage of the Covid-19 pandemic in the UK.

The survey can be accessed by clicking on the picture of the survey.

If you have any questions before filling the survey in, please contact Janet Newsham here

You can also join Hazards Campaign if you are a Union Safety Rep, or simply interested in workplace health and safety and keeping up with the issues facing workers in the UK: here and receive a copy of the monthly magazine.
